Tesla officially enters Thailand with Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla, the world’s leading electric vehicle company, officially launches in Thailand with an exclusive pop-up from December 8, 2022, at Siam Paragon. Tesla is introducing its two most popular electric vehicles in Thailand, Model 3 and Model Y.

Customers in Thailand can start to order Model 3 or Model Y from Tesla’s online configurator this afternoon, with deliveries scheduled for Q1 2023. All official Tesla vehicles will have access to the state-of-the-art satellite navigation system and all innovative features on Tesla’s 15-inch touchscreen display that features over-the-air software updates to introduce new features, functionality, and performance.

Model 3 and Model Y will be available in three trims to meet the specific demands of the EV lifestyle for every Thai driver.

  • Model 3 Long Range for cross-provincial travel of up to 681km, or Model 3 Performance with acceleration up to 3.3 sec from 0-100 km/h with up to top speed of 261 km/h
  • Model 3 prices start from 1,759,000 THB; Long Range: 1,999,000 THB; Performance 2,309,000 THB
  • Model Y Long Range for cross-provincial travel of up to 623km, or Model Y Performance with acceleration up to 3.7 sec from 0-100 km/h with up to top speed of 250 km/h
  • Model Y prices start from 1,959,000 THB; Long Range: 2,259,000 THB; Performance 2,509,000THB

Tesla’s electric vehicles are built to exceed safety standards, achieving 5-star safety ratings from multiple international safety assessment authorities. Model 3 and Model Y feature all-wheel drive with two independent motors for improved redundancy, each with only one moving part for minimal maintenance and maximum durability.

Drivers will enjoy the game-changing experience with Tesla’s iconic 15-inch touch screen, Tesla app, and signature Autopilot that comes with features such as:

  • Enjoy your private theater and entertainment system with built-in YouTube, Netflix, and in-car gaming arcade while staying comfortably in your Tesla without any CO2 emissions
  • Access to your Tesla via Tesla Mobile App to control the charging and temperature and ensure security with our Sentry Mode anytime and anywhere
  • Tesla Autopilot features are designed to assist drivers with the most burdensome parts of driving, and it introduces new features and improves existing functionality to make your Tesla safer and more capable over time. The owner can also upgrade to Enhanced Autopilot or Full-Self Driving (FSD) for more advanced functions, including Navigate on Autopilot (NoA), Autopark, etc.

Tesla’s first supercharger in Thailand will be opened in Q1 2023, and Tesla drivers will have access to up to at least 10 Supercharging stations by 2023 to always be powered for their journey. With our cutting-edge Supercharging technology, owners can charge the car up to 275 km in just 15 minutes.

For the first delivery batch in Q1, Tesla owners enjoy the privilege of purchasing a limited premium Home Charging package with customized styles and colors and the site visit and installation by Tesla-certified installers.

Online configuration for Model 3 and Model Y will open in the afternoon of Dec 7, 2022, for Thailand, with all trim vehicle deliveries starting from Q1 2023.

Tesla targets to open the very first Tesla Service Center in Q1, right after the 1st batch delivery, to provide the global standard services to every owner in Thailand.

Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model 3 is an electric sedan and surpassed the 1 million global sales milestone in 2021. The design of Model 3 is unlike any other car. You can use your smartphone as a key and access all driver controls in the central 15-inch touchscreen. The all-glass roof extends from front to back, creating a sense of openness from every seat.

Tesla Model Y

Tesla Model Y is an electric SUV based on the Model 3 sedan platform with a similar interior and exterior design and electric powertrain. With the maximized 2100+ Liters of storage space, Model Y is perfect for all life scenarios, including daily commutes, long-distance road trips, and even camping.

Model 3 and Model Y will be on display at Siam Paragon, located on the First floor at the Fashion Hall Event Space, from December 8, 2022. Visitors can check the car in person to learn more about the technology and technical specs. The online configuration will be opened for customers to order customized Model 3 and Model Y from this afternoon.
