Endless Capital, a venture investment arm of Kasikorn X (KX), focuses on long-term business partnerships with start-ups in the worlds of decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchains, Web 3.0, and Metaverse.
Its strength is the ability to be the main investor in modern-world ventures, coupled with KX’s status as a global fund and regional company.
KX is a company under Kasikornbank’s tech arm Kasikorn Business-Technology Group (KBTG).
Thanaarmates Arriyavat, head of Venture Builder at Kasikorn X Co Ltd, told The Story Thailand that Endless Capital represents a new form of venture investment with the belief in long-term investment obligation in the worlds of DeFi, blockchains, Web 3.0, and Metaverse.
New model of venture investment
Fund-raising is vital to start-ups, and they also need alliances to help them expand their business quickly. Start-ups often obtain the money they want from their fund-raising, but they rarely receive the cooperation that they really need.
“Endless Capital is designed to tackle this problem for startups in the worlds of DeFi, blockchains, Web 3.0, and Metaverse,” Thanaarmates said.
“We want to support founders who are brave enough to create meaningful innovations, in terms of investment and global cooperation, through KX’s regional footprints in Southeast Asia and China.”
Bravery and speed form the strategy
For KX Endless Capital, the fixed size and maturity of traditional investment funds prove to be an obstacle for founders with the courage to tackle long-term issues. That is why Endless Capital has no need for a clearly specified fund size, as that is no longer important. Also, there is no limitation on the investment period because Endless Capital offers itself as a long-term partner and ally.
The investment process of KX Endless Capital is designed to be concise and speedy. The fund is flexible in acting as a lead or follow-investor in each round of investment. Ruangroj “Krating” Poonpol and Thanaarmates “Paul” Arriyavat serve as members of this fund’s investment committee.
Task of expanding KX’s DeFi ecosystem
Another role for Endless Capital is to expand an ecosystem in the decentralized finance world of KX, in line with the company’s task of transferring 99 per cent of DeFi power to the human hands — that is “building trust in the trustless world”.
KX Endless Capital is looking for startups with a technology that helps reduce friction and allows KX to create innovations for the masses. Therefore, KX investment focuses on cooperation with startups to expand its ecosystem in the long term. KX is interested in DeFi stacks regarding infrastructure, assets, gateway, protocols, aggregators, and other relevant aspects.

In addition to investment for the expansion of KX’s ecosystem, KX Endless Capital also plays the role of supporting Thai founders in the DeFi, blockchain, Web 3.0, and Metaverse industries.
For KX Endless Capital, founders are the most important — the vital part of investment in the Seed and Pre-Serie A rounds.
“It is difficult to build a business. We are a venture builder that started from zero. We know how difficult it is to construct a company. If we can support capable founders, we will be able to play an important role in expanding the ecosystem in this sectorial innovation system, which in turn can boost Thailand’s competitiveness globally,” Thanaarmates said.
“We want to be one of the most meaningful funds, just like Coral that aims to become a super simple NFT marketplace that is the most meaningful,” he said.
Coral aims to serve as a tool for artists in Southeast Asia to earn their living while doing what they truly love without having to leave their homes, Thanaarmates noted. Likewise, KX has the same motivation to “build trust in the trustless world,” he added.
