OR is listed in the “Sustainability Yearbook 2023” by S&P Global

OR was selectively listed by S&P in the “Sustainability Yearbook 2023” in the retailing business category after its participation in the respective global sustainability assessment for the first time, the result of which bolsters confidence and acceptance of investors, as well as stakeholders at the international level.

Disathat Panyarachun, Chief Executive Officer of PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (OR), reveals that OR has been included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2023 this time as a result of its participation in the international sustainability assessment conducted by S&P Global. In 2022, more than 7,500 companies across 61 industries had taken part in the assessment. Basically, the companies successfully listed in the Sustainability Yearbook must achieve the highest score among the first 15% of all companies from the same industry. Being the first year of participation, it reflects OR’s sustainability operations in all 3 dimensions, namely the environment, society, economy & governance, which are in line with the international assessment criteria of DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Indices).

OR operates its business on the foundation of sustainability based on the vision of Empowering All Toward Inclusive Growth in order for all to grow together, which also conforms to the approach to creating a sustainable future through OR’s SDG that concretely shapes OR 2030 goals, be they opportunities for communities (S: Small), which aims to conduct business along with improving the quality of life and well-being of the communities; more partners, products and services (D: Diversified), which emphasizes collaboration with potential partners by jointly investing in many businesses to join forces and grow together through OR’s “Inclusive Growth Platform” available both physically and digitally; and low carbon business areas (G:Green) with an emphasis on the environment, orienting all businesses toward green practices to promote the creation of a low-carbon society with goals to achieve Carbon Neutrality in 2030 and Net Zero in 2050.
