SCBX signs world’s No. 1 female golfer, “Pro Jeen” , as its first brand ambassador

SCBX has elevated its status as a regional tech company worthy of international recognition by inviting “Pro Jeen” Atthaya Thitikul, the world’s No. 1 female golfer from Thailand, as its first brand ambassador. Atthaya made history by stepping into the LPGA at the age of 19, becoming the first brand ambassador, portraying the image of a new generation with outstanding development potential and filled with courage, determination, dedication, and the ability to compete on the global stage. With her potential to grow into a world-class athlete, she is an inspiration among Thais and new generations around the world, reflecting the SCBX Group’s core beliefs and brand DNA. This is the first move in bringing the SCBX corporate brand to the world’s attention by participating in the LPGA Tour 2023 throughout the year, reinforcing our commitment to becoming a leading regional tech company.

Arthid Nanthawithaya, Chief Executive Officer of SCB X Public Company Limited, recently noted, “One of the most important missions of SCBX is to become a leading financial technology group in the region. In addition to building business capabilities, building a corporate brand recognized on the international stage is another important thing that must be done in parallel with our other goals.

We are therefore very pleased to support ‘Pro Jeen’ and work together with her as the first SCBX brand ambassador and use the group’s technological capabilities to increase the potential and competitiveness of ‘Pro Jeen’ on par with global competitors, representing a model of courage and continuous development, which fits perfectly with the DNA of SCBX. We are very confident that ‘Pro Jeen’ will effectively convey the image of SCBX being a regional tech company to the world as she continues to inspire the new generation to be courageous and pursue their dreams and achieve their goals.”

Atthaya Thitikul, or “Pro Jeen,” said, “2023 will be a more challenging year for me as a second-year LPGA Tour member. I need to continuously practice to improve my capabilities to equal those of world-class professionals. I will continue to believe in myself and try my best in every competition. With the support of the SCBX Group this year, I am very honored and delighted to have a leading world-renowned Thai conglomerate and the Thai people believing in my potential ability to compete internationally.”
