Anothai Wettayakorn appointed as the Managing Director and Technology Leader of IBM Thailand 

Anothai Wettayakorn has been appointed as the Managing Director and Technology Leader of IBM Thailand. This executive appointment is a part of IBM’s commitment to bring its cutting edge technology built on the foundation of trust, as well as its industry expertise, to support Thailand as the country sets forth to build productivity and competitiveness to drive its vigorous digital economy roadmap.

Anothai brings over 30 years of IT experience having held various leadership positions. Prior to joining IBM, he was the vice president of Dell Technologies’ business in the Asia’s Emerging Markets, overseeing operations in 28 countries. In this role, he was responsible for leading overall businesses, sales strategy, business development, customer and partner engagements across both public and private sectors. Prior to this, he held leadership roles at Dell Indochina and was the Managing Director of Dell Thailand, where he played a key role in growing the company’s customer base and strengthening its position as a leading IT vendor for Thailand and the region.

Anothai also worked with Compaq Computers, HP and the SVOA PCL Group. He was recognized as an Thailand Top Influencer by GM Magazine, Forbes Thailand’s Editor Choices in 2013 and received the Top Management Award 2018 from UTCC for his executive leadership and pivotal role in supporting the growth of the digital economy.
