True upgrades network capacity along royal procession route

aTrue upgrades network capacity along royal procession route

True Corporation has upgraded and expanded its 5G, 4G, and WiFi network infrastructure to support public communication needs during the royal procession of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati. The upgrades cover the entire route from King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, to Pimarn Rattaya Hall inside the Grand Palace.

To manage the anticipated surge in data demand, the telecom operator has deployed a Cell-on-Wheels (COW) mobile base station near King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. Network capacity adjustments have also been completed across all key transit points of the procession, including Henri Dunant Road, Rama IV Road, Phaya Thai Road, Si Ayutthaya Road, Ratchadamnoen Nok Avenue, Ratchadamnoen Klang Avenue, Ratchadamnoen Nai Avenue, Na Phra Lan Road, Wiset Chaisri Gate, and Pimarn Rattaya Hall. These technical measures aim to prevent network congestion for citizens gathering along the roads.

The company has modified network event parameters specifically tailored for high-density areas. Technical execution relies on dedicated engineering teams alongside True’s Business Network Intelligence Center (BNIC), which uses artificial intelligence technologies to monitor and manage network quality in real time on a 24-hour basis.

True Corporation stated that it will maintain this state of network readiness throughout the duration of the event. Through live tracking and proactive capacity management, the operator intends to ensure stable digital connectivity and uninterrupted communications for the public during the solemn occasion.
