Bitkub unveils ‘5 Global Transformations’ at Lao PDR’s National Startup Fest 2026

บิทคับ ร่วมงาน The National Startup Fest 2026 ณ สปป.ลาว โชว์วิสัยทัศน์ 5 ปัจจัยเปลี่ยนโลกปี 2569

Bitkub Blockchain Technology Co., Ltd., led by CEO Passakorn Pannok and CCO Niorn Kiatdamrong, took center stage at The National Startup Fest 2026 in Lao PDR. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Technology and Communications of Lao PDR, served as a premier platform for Bitkub to share its strategic vision for the digital and AI-driven future.

In his keynote, “Startup Growth and Bitkub Strategy in 2026,” Mr. Passakorn highlighted five critical transformations aligned with the World Economic Forum 2026 that are reshaping the world:

  • Deglobalization: A strategic shift toward regional self-reliance.
  • Decarbonization: Creating new economic value through clean energy transitions.
  • Demographics: Addressing the complexities of aging societies with innovation.
  • Debt: Structural adjustments to manage public debt and inflation.
  • Digitalization: The pivotal role of AI and Blockchain in the modern era.

These shifts have accelerated a massive movement of global capital from tangible assets toward intangible assets, particularly within AI, cloud computing, and blockchain technology.

The Era of Institutionalization in Cryptocurrency

Addressing the outlook for the cryptocurrency industry, Mr. Passakorn observed that the market has firmly entered the era of Institutionalization. This phase is characterized by global financial institutions and sovereign reserves incorporating digital assets into their portfolios, bolstered by the significant growth of crypto ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds) over the past several years.

Bitkub’s core strategy focuses on connectivity rather than just construction. “Our goal is not merely to build entirely new infrastructure, but to bridge local potential with global networks,” Mr. Passakorn stated. He emphasized that Bitkub aims to empower regional startups, ensuring they grow sustainably in alignment with global technological trends.

Lao PDR’s Premier Startup Hub

The National Startup Fest 2026 proved to be a significant landmark for Lao PDR, gathering over 15 distinguished speakers and 30+ exhibitors, including startups and SMEs. The event focused on fostering international business opportunities and knowledge exchange to prepare the region for the digital transition.
