Binance host APAC law enforcement crypto training

Binance and Gulf Binance held a first-of-its-kind regional law enforcement training in Bangkok, focusing on combating crypto-related crime. The event gathered over 120 participants from law enforcement agencies across the APAC region, including Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, and Australia.

Experts from Binance, blockchain intelligence firms like Chainalysis and TRM Labs, and organizations including the UNODC and World Economic Forum led sessions on investigating digital asset crimes. The training aimed to enhance law enforcement’s ability to tackle illicit activities using blockchain technology.

Thai Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau representatives praised the event for providing crucial, up-to-date skills. Binance and Gulf Binance emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration in securing the digital environment and building trust in the digital financial ecosystem. The initiative highlights Binance’s commitment to user protection and combating crypto crime through global partnerships and technology.
