Ruangroj highlighted two key outstanding innovations from the past year that secured the win:
- Core Banking Horizontal Scaling: This project, part of the Run the Bank strategy, aimed to strengthen KBank’s core banking system—the heart of its operations—to enhance services for over 24 million KBank clients. By adding another parallel core banking system without incurring any downtime during development, the bank can now accommodate 50 percent more financial transactions and support up to 60 million accounts by 2031.
- MeowJot Application: This innovation in the research and development domain is an automated expense-tracking app that reads transaction e-slips from 19 mobile banking applications, including TrueMoney Wallet. With over 400,000 current users, MeowJot enables users to conveniently and efficiently track their spending habits, promoting better financial discipline.
