นิตยสาร TIME จัดอันดับทรู องค์กรยั่งยืนที่สุดในไทย ประจำปี 2026 ขยับขึ้นอันดับ 160 ของโลก

True Corporation has been ranked 160th globally in the “TIME World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2026” list, compiled by TIME magazine in partnership with Statista. This positioning marks an increase from its 191st rank in 2025. True achieved a score of 79.22, making it the highest-ranked company from Thailand on the 2026 list.

The ranking occurs as True Corporation accelerates its structural transition into an artificial intelligence-first (AI-first) organization, while continuing to develop digital infrastructure and expand access to technology.

Sigve Brekke, Group Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation Plc., stated that amid global economic uncertainties and geopolitical shifts, corporate resilience is necessary. Operating under Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, the company manages energy consumption across its networks and implements a Responsible AI policy across its business operations, products, and customer services. True has also established a target to provide AI skills training to its employees and 12 million people across Thailand to support the country’s digital competitiveness.

Dr. Naetchanok Wipatasinlapin, Chief Sustainability Officer of True Corporation Plc., noted that the company has also been recognized in the Top 1% of the global telecommunications industry by S&P Global for eight consecutive years. She credited this continued international recognition to the foundational sustainable business framework established by Suphachai Chearavanont, Chairman of the Board of Directors of True Corporation Plc.

True’s ongoing sustainability initiatives include progressing toward a Net Zero emissions target validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company utilizes AI technology to manage and optimize energy consumption at its network base stations to mitigate environmental impact, alongside its initiatives to increase digital literacy and AI skills.

In tandem with its technological transition, True is developing sustainability-driven projects focused on digital safety, educational support, and narrowing the digital divide. The company maintains its corporate governance and transparency standards through its official Responsible AI policy, which mandates that all internal AI adoptions are auditable and compliant with human rights standards.
