The initiative will begin with a pilot focused on the Public Sector Excellence Awards, with future plans to extend the technology to other areas of government services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This landmark partnership brings together the strengths of the private and public sectors to promote Thai developed AI innovation for productive use in the public sector. &#8220;Typhoon&#8221; has been designed specifically to understand Thai linguistic structures and cultural contexts, making it highly effective for use in Thai-language applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Onfa Vejjajiva<\/strong>, Secretary-General of the OPDC, stated: \u201cAs the main agency responsible for reforming the government business processes, the OPDC places high priority on leveraging digital technology to improve public sector performance. Our collaboration with SCBX in deploying the Thai-developed AI model &#8216;Typhoon&#8217; to create a chatbot for the Public Sector Excellence Awards is an excellent starting point for digitally driven government reform. The chatbot will provide 24\/7 access to information for government officials nationwide, reducing repetitive inquiries and aligning with our mission to transform Thailand\u2019s bureaucracy into a responsive, citizen-centric, and digitally enabled system fit for the 4.0 era.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Kaweewut Temphuwapat<\/strong>, Chief Innovation Officer of SCB X Public Company Limited, added: <em>\u201cThis partnership reflects SCBX\u2019s commitment to advancing Thai society through the application of locally developed AI technologies.
