According to the latest global EV installed base forecast, the worldwide electric vehicle fleet is projected to reach 116,179,563 units<\/strong> by 2026, marking a robust 29.7% growth<\/strong> from the 89,554,951 units estimated in 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)<\/strong> will maintain the largest share of the market with over 76.3 million units (up 28.3%), Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs)<\/strong> are expected to experience a more rapid expansion at a growth rate of 32.5%<\/strong>, reaching nearly 39.8 million units.
