SCB X Public Company Limited (SCBX) has entered into a strategic partnership with Chulalongkorn University\u2019s Faculty of Science and Siam Quantum Square (SQ\u00b2) to accelerate the research, development, and implementation of quantum technology within Thailand\u2019s financial sector. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aims to build a robust technological infrastructure and enhance the nation\u2019s long-term global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration aligns with SCBX\u2019s ambition to become a regional fintech leader by fostering foundational capabilities that prepare Thailand for the “next frontier” of global digital transformation. Quantum technology is expected to fundamentally redefine computation, security, and risk management in financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University<\/strong>, described quantum science as a strategic priority that may surpass artificial intelligence in long-term impact. He emphasized that the partnership reflects SCBX\u2019s confidence in the university\u2019s research talent and marks a commitment to translating academic excellence into tangible economic value, positioning Thailand as an emerging regional hub for quantum technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
