Central Pattana plc is launching \u201cCentral Northville,\u201d a new mixed-use development in North Bangkok and Nonthaburi positioned as \u201cThe New District of North Bangkok\u201d. Spanning more than 59 rai with a total gross building area (GBA) of 210,000 square meters, the project represents an investment of over THB 4.5 billion. The shopping centre introduces a retail experience through Thailand\u2019s first Biophilic Design concept, integrating nature with urban elements to address modern well-being and longevity trends. A residential condominium development is planned for 2027 to complete the mixed-use ecosystem. The grand opening of Central Northville is scheduled for July 3, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project announcement was attended by Nonthaburi’s Governor, Mr. Chestha Mosikarat, alongside public and private sector representatives, including Yollada Ronghanam (Chairman of Nonthaburi Chamber of Commerce), Suriyan Boonyamanonukul (President of the Nonthaburi Tourism Promotion Association), Worapol Romyawarapol (Secretary of The Federation of Thai Industries, Nonthaburi), and Songkran Phetnamkhiao (Head of Provincial Commercial Affairs Nonthaburi). Representing Central Pattana were Dr.Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana (Chief Marketing Officer), Wuttikiat Techamongklapiwat (Chief Operating Officer), and Juthatham Chirathivat (Head of Business & Design Development).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr.Nattakit Tangpoonsinthana<\/strong> stated that Nonthaburi serves as a key strategic growth area with high purchasing power and high-income urban families. The province has the second highest population density after Bangkok, with a Gross Provincial Product (GPP) exceeding THB 405.29 billion per year and an average per capita income of THB 213,992 per year, driven by retail, manufacturing, and healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wuttikiat Techamongklapiwat<\/strong> noted that Central Northville completes Central Pattana’s four-directional shopping centre presence in Nonthaburi, alongside Central Westgate, Central WestVille, and Central Chaengwattana, catering to a population of over 1.8 million people. The development functions as a hub across four dimensions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Connectivity & Transit Hub:<\/strong> Connects to the MRT Purple Line, Pink Line, and future Brown Line, alongside major expressways and the M81 Bang Yai-Kanchanaburi Motorway.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Residential Hub:<\/strong> Serves a catchment area with over 125 residential projects valued at over THB 90 billion, with more than 55% in the high-end to luxury segments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Education, Healthcare & Government Hub:<\/strong> Surrounded by 136 educational institutions, 18 hospitals, and over 15 government agencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Cultural Tourism Hub:<\/strong> Tied to local cultural and economic venues like Koh Kret and local products.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Juthatham Chirathivat<\/strong> explained that Central Northville builds upon the company’s “Ville Series”\u2014following Central EastVille and Central WestVille\u2014by introducing Thailand\u2019s first fully biophilic indoor garden. The design incorporates natural light, water features, organic forms, natural materials, and indoor greenery to improve indoor air quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Architecturally, the project features an outdoor-in-indoor concept with an Urban Oasis Fa\u00e7ade utilizing vertical fins to filter heat from sunlight, alongside real trees and water features to create a cooling microclimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The layout incorporates five design inspirations: PLANT (dining areas), EARTH (Everyday Lifestyle Eatery zone), STONE (Sports Fashion & Multi-Sports Activities zone), WOOD (Lifestyle Tech & Specialty zone), and LIGHT (Morning Market zone).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Furthermore, Central Northville offers six highlight zones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Stone Atrium:<\/strong> A central hall equipped with a digital screen for brand events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Playville:<\/strong> A 550-meter outdoor active space for families featuring a playground with a grizzly bear sculpture and a water play fountain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. PetVille & Urban Park:<\/strong> A 235-square-meter destination providing a pet park, grooming, and pet wellness services, alongside an urban park that includes a 450-meter jogging track for owners and pets.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Ahead of its opening, the project won the regional Hubexo Asia Awards 2025 in the Top 10 Developers category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
