After the Google Street View<\/a> car officially hit the roads in a few cities across the U.S., the first imagery was published in May 2007. Now in its 15th year, there are over 220 billion Street View images from over 100 countries and territories, allowing people to fully experience what it\u2019s like to be in these places right from their phone or computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Thailand, it has already been 10 years since Google Street View made its official debut in the country in September 2011. In September 2016, Indoor Street View was introduced. More recently in March 2021, Google launched River Street View<\/a> in partnership with Bangkok Riviera. A Street View camera was mounted to a boat to capture fascinating imagery from the Lower Chao Phraya River from Samutprakarn to Ayutthaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of Street View\u2019s 15th birthday celebration, Google has gathered some interesting data as follows. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past year, people had fun exploring new places and potential travel destinations on Street View, including countries in Asia-Pacific. The 15 most popular countries and regions to visit on Street View<\/strong> were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
