SEAC organizes the first \u2018homeroom\u2019 session to provide updates on highlights of success achieved during 90 days after the rebranding to YourNextU School of Life, restructuring of new management and team members, moving forward with the 5Cs strategy through partnership synergy with all sectors to create a turning point that transforms Thai education business and expanding the community of passionate learners, with the goal to reach cumulative customer base of 70,000 members by end of 2022 on path to become a leader in creating life skills for all Thai people.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boonyanuch Boonbumrungsub, Managing Director of YourNextU by SEAC\u00a0<\/strong>said that \u201cAfter joining SEAC, I found that most Thai people today still place very little importance on education or self-development,\u00a0and view them as “boring” and put them among the last items in the list of what they wish to invest for themselves. That\u2019s the reason why YourNextU School of Life is determined to move forward to motivate Thai people across all sectors to create a ripple effect the Thai society on raising the awareness of the value and importance of self-development and life-long learning, as if they were the 5th<\/sup>\u00a0basic within factor of life. Especially, we believe that the development of life skills or soft skills can help make a positive impact on self-development at work as well as in daily life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a survey conducted by Wonderlic among over 750 employees in the US, 97% of respondents agreed that soft skills positively affect their working performance. Similarly, research conducted by Stanford Research Center, Harvard University and the Carnegie Foundation has all concluded that 85% of job success comes from having well\u2010developed soft skills and people skills. These findings affirm the importance of soft skills which play a more and more critical role in people’s lives. Therefore, we set a key ambition to expand the network of learning community along with our 2022 goal to increase the total number of cumulative members to 70,000 by the end of this year.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the past three months since its rebranding, YourNextU has achieved considerable success from what it has experimented with and learned under the new business direction in several aspects.\u00a0The restructuring of the management and working team<\/strong>\u00a0has led to the hiring of new employees in new positions to join the mission of transforming and redefining learning experience.\u00a0A new way to generate revenue from new sales strategy<\/strong>\u00a0has been achieved by shifting focus from lump sum subscription package to a single course-based package, with\u00a0highlight on 5-life skill course<\/strong>. A new uniqueness has been created through the\u00a0collaboration with Creative Talk<\/strong>\u00a0to co-design the Soft Skills Bootcamp #1<\/strong>, with the aim of building a learning community for soft skills among target audiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New ways of content creation and new learning experiences have\u00a0been explored by\u00a0sponsoring the immersive theater show titled \u201cnowhereland: THE EDEN\u201d<\/strong>, hosting CSR activity in form of workshop program under the\u00a0“Iconic Women Alliance (IWA) by SEAC”\u00a0<\/strong>project to empower ordinary working women and provide them with self-development opportunities, as well as launching\u00a0exclusive learning sessions for KOLs and influencers<\/strong>\u00a0to pave way to a new dimension of innovative communication on learning in order to reach new target groups.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YourNextU will continue to move forward to achieve its goal by end of 2022 under the 5Cs strategy, consisting of: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Contextualize<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Focusing on curriculum design and creation of learning experiences, on both Hard Skills and Soft Skills, that are seamlessly integrated into people’s lives, as well as adapted to suit the lives of Thai people of all ages, with contents from many recognized and world-renowned institutions.\u00a0<\/li>
  2. Collaboration<\/strong>\u00a0– Exploring new partnerships to become \u201cFriends of YourNextU\u201d by collaborating with like-minded companions who share common beliefs and interests in raising the bar of education for people in Thailand (Inspire), are ready to join in the creation of learning paths in new ways incessantly together (Design) and help expand the community of passionate learners to reach new, broader target groups (Expand).\u00a0Kru Loukgolf – Kanatip Soonthornrak<\/strong>, the owner of language institute and famous DJ will participate in developing learning content in various formats to capture new target groups, especially Gen Z, co-creating a community as well as providing insightful information beneficial to the development of special courses to suit the new target groups.\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Creativity\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Leveraging creative ideas to develop new learning experiences, such as SEAC’s signature\u00a0game-based learning<\/strong>, which combines the fun of gaming with learning, making it enjoyable, easy to access, and practical for learners.\u00a0<\/li>
  4. Continuity \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Promoting continuous and comprehensive learning with the\u00a04 Line Learning<\/strong>\u00a0model encompassing\u00a0ONLINE, INLINE, BEELINE and FRONTLINE<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>
  5. Community\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Promoting a learning society where everyone can join and learn and grow together, not only limited to the working people, employees of organizations or companies, human resources department of organizations, but expanded to become a “community of passionate learners”.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Following the 5Cs strategy, YourNextU announced the launch of\u00a0“Rak Na Tu Eng”\u00a0<\/strong>campaign. The name of the campaign itself represents the way to show the feeling of Love to others or yourself by saying \u201cI Love You\u201d. The campaign aims to invite Thai people to give the gift of knowledge and self-development skills, as a way to express love and gratitude to themselves, to people around them, as well as for organizations to give to their employees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The campaign joins force with 3 contemporary storytelling artists –\u00a0SOMMARKZ<\/strong>, a content creator through social platforms widely known for his compelling quotes,\u00a0Tum Ulit<\/strong>, a cartoonist who tells stories with comics without any dialogue, and\u00a0Katanyu Sawangsri<\/strong>, an avid storyteller on stage in stand-up comedy style, to help convey the definition of self-love in different contexts through their own way of storytelling technique\u00a0to reach more new generations of target audience.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
