AIS ไตรมาส 2 กำไรสุทธิ 13,716 ล้านบาท เดินหน้ายกระดับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานดิจิทัล

AIS has disclosed its operating performance for the second quarter of 2026, reporting total revenue of 56,497 million baht and a net profit of 13,716 million baht. The company maintained its performance in line with guidance, focusing on product and service quality. This performance occurred amid economic challenges, geopolitical conflicts, and ongoing wars overseas, which impacted global purchasing power before conditions improved in June.

During the quarter, AIS continued its strategy to become an Intelligent Infrastructure provider by strengthening core businesses and expanding new opportunities. The Mobile Business focused on growing its high-quality customer base and increasing 5G adoption. The Fixed Broadband Business developed Smart Living innovations. The Enterprise Business supported Thai enterprises in AI Transformation, alongside the expansion of retail, entertainment, and digital financial services.

Performance by business segment is detailed below:

  • Mobile Business: The total mobile subscriber base reached 47.1 million, driven by growth in both prepaid and postpaid subscribers. The number of 5G users reached 19.7 million, an increase of 1.2 million from the first quarter of 2026. Consequently, mobile service revenue grew by 6% year-on-year. AIS maintained identity verification requirements for new SIM registrations.
  • Fixed Broadband Business: AIS 3BB FIBRE3 had a total of 5.3 million subscribers. Despite economic challenges, the company expanded its customer base through value-driven packages and developed Smart Living products. Fixed broadband revenue grew by 7.9% year-on-year.
  • Enterprise Business: Enterprise revenue grew by 2.8% year-on-year, driven by data networks, cloud services, and data center services. AIS continued to develop digital infrastructure to support the AI Transformation of Thai enterprises and the growth of global technology companies and the AI industry.
  • Retail Business: The Retail Business grew by 1% from the previous quarter. The company focused on smart device shopping through an Omnichannel platform and Fast Delivery service within three hours across Bangkok. A diverse range of digital lifestyle products, including accessories under the LINK UP brand, was offered.
  • Entertainment Business: AIS launched the PLAY ALL package, consolidating global content such as the Bundesliga, NBA, NFL, ATP, LPGA, and Premier Sports, plus content from OTT platforms. A four-year partnership with UC3 was established to broadcast UEFA football competitions.
  • Digital Financial Services Business: AIS advanced this segment through a partnership with Krungthai Bank and OR to launch “CLICX,” Thailand’s first virtual bank.

Revenue growth and effective cost discipline helped mitigate rising energy costs. AIS delivered growth in core service revenue and EBITDA, exceeding guidance. The company reaffirmed guidance for core service revenue growth at 3–5% and EBITDA growth at 2-4%. For 2026, AIS will continue to operate under a capital expenditure framework of 30,000–35,000 million baht to enhance Intelligent Digital Infrastructure and support Thailand’s digital economy.
