Central Pattana enters data centre business with partner Evolution Data Centres

Central Pattana plc, is moving forward with its strategy of ‘The Ecosystem for All’ with new assets that fulfil the needs for future living by developing a 34-megawatt data centre with Evolution Data Centres (EDC), a data centre platform provider which seeks to expand its business to cover Southeast Asia.

As carrier neutral data centre, the new data centre will support connections to network service providers without limits. With expertise in infrastructure development that meets world-class standards and state-of-the-art high-performance technology, the data centre targeting large corporate customers.

The sustainable hyper-scale data centre is expected to cater to the rapidly increasing demand for cloud computing and data storage as well as enhance the digital infrastructure industry in Bangkok and Thailand and attract foreign investment, putting Thailand forward to become a future hub of data centres.

Phoom Chirathivat, Head of Alternative Investments, Central Pattana plc, said “Central Pattana has a vision to move towards an ecosystem business model.
