BKC and Klangjaturat Art Gallery Launch ‘Art Power: The Energy Transition’

BKC ร่วมกับ หอศิลป์คลังจัตุรัส เปิดโครงการ 'พลังศิลป์เปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงาน'

Bangkhenchai Company Limited (BKC), a subsidiary of CK Power Public Company Limited (CKP), has partnered with the Klangjaturat Art Gallery to launch “Art Power: The Energy Transition.” This creative initiative, hosted for students near the Pak Thong Chai 1 Solar Power Plant in Nakhon Ratchasima, aims to build a learning society centered on clean energy and environmental stewardship.

The launch event was led by Supawit Supapa, Managing Director of BKC, alongside Samarn Klangjaturat, master artist and founder of the Klangjaturat Art Gallery, together with a dedicated group of art educators.

Art as a Catalyst for Sustainability

The project seeks to foster a deep-rooted awareness of environmental conservation among youth and local communities. By using art as a medium, the initiative simplifies complex concepts of “Energy Transition” and renewable resources, making them accessible and engaging for the next generation.

Key Objectives include:

  • Building Clean Energy Literacy: Educating students on the importance of solar power and carbon reduction.
  • Fostering Conservation Awareness: Instilling a sense of responsibility toward natural resources.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthening the bond between the power plant and its surrounding neighbors through sustainable development.

Strategic CSR: The “Hinghoi” Framework

“Art Power: The Energy Transition” is a strategic expansion of the “Empowering Clean Energy through Thai Art” initiative first launched in 2024. It aligns directly with CKPower’s CSR Strategy Framework (2022–2026), specifically under the “Hinghoi: Preserving and Restoring Natural Resources” pillar.

The “Hinghoi” (Firefly) pillar focuses on:

  1. Protection and Restoration: Actively conserving forest areas and local ecosystems.
  2. Educational Outreach: Expanding conservation areas through community-led awareness.
  3. Creative Platforms: Utilizing art to bridge the gap between technical energy knowledge and tangible environmental action.

By integrating artistic expression with ecological education, BKC and CKPower are creating a platform where knowledge transfer becomes an inspiring experience, ultimately contributing to a greener and more self-reliant community in Nakhon Ratchasima.
