The event celebrated the successful restoration of the historic ordination hall, ensuring the preservation of the community’s cultural and religious landmark.
CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower), in collaboration with CH. Karnchang Group, successfully organized a traditional blessing ceremony and installed a five-tiered white ceremonial umbrella above the principal Buddha image. The ceremony took place at the ordination hall of Wat Na Huai, located in Pran Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, to mark the completion of the hall’s extensive restoration. The event was held to bring auspiciousness and to actively preserve Thai arts, culture, and religious heritage. As a historic religious site for the local community, historical records suggest that Wat Na Huai’s ordination hall was originally constructed during the late Ayutthaya to early Rattanakosin period.
To ensure the conservation and restoration work fully aligned with the original architectural style and historical preservation principles, the project received close guidance from the Office of Architecture, Fine Arts Department, alongside the Regional Office of Fine Arts 1 Ratchaburi. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to maintaining a vital religious landmark, ensuring it remains a spiritual center for Buddhists and safeguards Thailand’s cultural heritage for future generations.
The ceremony was presided over by Thanawat Trivisvavet, Managing Director of CK Power Public Company Limited (CKPower).
