Ratch Pathana Energy Public Company Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the CES Solar Cells Testing Center (CSSC) under the Pilot Plant Development and Training Institute (PDTI) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The partnership aims to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platform to analyze the performance of photovoltaic (PV) solar systems and enhance solar power plant management in Thailand.
The collaboration focuses on utilizing AI and ML technologies to monitor, analyze, and forecast power generation performance. This initiative aims to increase data accuracy, minimize electricity production losses, and support predictive maintenance systems to ensure efficient and sustainable renewable energy management. Additionally, the project intends to develop workforce capabilities in digital and AI technologies to support upcoming clean energy investments.
Dr. Klahan Suksawai, Managing Director of Ratch Pathana Energy Public Company Limited, stated that the company consistently prioritizes clean energy technology and innovation. He noted that the partnership with CSSC and KMUTT represents a key step in integrating AI into the renewable energy sector, improving power plant management efficiency, and boosting business competitiveness through data-driven operations.
Assistant Professor Dr. Bunyaphat Suphanit, Director of PDTI at KMUTT, added that this academic-industrial alliance serves as a driver for advancing knowledge, research, and clean energy innovation. The objective is to enable practical business applications that will benefit the future development of the national energy system.
Alongside platform development, the project emphasizes building a digital and AI-skilled workforce to accommodate future renewable energy expansion and establish a data-driven foundation for efficient asset management. This collaboration reflects the company’s approach of using technology and innovation to support its clean energy operations and improve long-term efficiency.
The MOU signing ceremony took place on June 25, 2026, at the SILK 2 Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangna, Bangkok. The agreement was signed by Assistant Professor Dr. Bunyaphat Suphanit, Director of PDTI, KMUTT; Mr. Worayot Thongtan, Director of Ratch Pathana Energy; and Dr. Klahan Suksawai, Managing Director of Ratch Pathana Energy. The event was witnessed by Dr. Dhirayut Chenvidhya, Director of CSSC, and Mr. Jaturong Korawej, Power Plant Management Manager of Ratch Pathana Energy, in the presence of executives, energy experts, and members of the media.
