Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has announced a landmark tripartite partnership with SCG, ASEAN’s leading cement and building materials provider, and Anhui Conch Information Technology Engineering (Conch). The collaboration aims to develop and deploy an integrated Advanced Process Control (APC) and AI solution to accelerate digital transformation in cement manufacturing.
The partnership leverages the unique strengths of three industry leaders to modernize cement production:
- SCG: Provides deep manufacturing expertise and its proprietary CiMie AI Foundation Model.
- Conch: Contributes proven APC technology and specialized process optimization algorithms for the cement sector.
- Huawei: Delivers robust ICT infrastructure, including Cloud and Edge Computing, AI Platforms, Cybersecurity, and F5G/IPv6 industrial networking.
Smart Factory Roadmap and Autonomous Decision-Making
Under the MoU, the three parties will collaborate on a comprehensive digital framework:
- System Design: Implementing customized APC systems for precise cement process control.
- AI Integration: Developing AI Foundation Models for production optimization and deploying AI Agents for autonomous decision-making.
- Infrastructure: Constructing a Smart Factory environment with Cloud-Edge architecture to handle real-time AI workloads.
- Operations & Training: Developing management dashboards and intensive training programs for SCG personnel.
