Beware of ‘Thailand Pass’ Phishing Website

The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society issues a warning about a phishing website, www.thailandpass.org, which claims to be a state platform for registering a trip to Thailand.

The warning came out after www.thailandpass.org became active and identified itself as a registration platform for those interested in travelling to Thailand. An investigation by the Information Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, however, has concluded that www.thailandpass.org is a phishing website. It is not a website of any government agency.

The government’s real website for Thailand Pass, which is replacing certificate of entry (COE), is in fact tp.Consular.go.th. It has been up and running since 9am of 1 November 2021.

People are advised not to browse to www.thailandpass.org or share its link on social media.
