MUJI Thailand is launching 5 home appliances, comprising a rice cooker, a toaster oven, a vacuum cleaner, a DC Electric fan and a hair dryer, to augment the store’s lineup of home electrical appliances.
The new MUJI appliances are minimalist and compact designs in white which blend in well with modern homes. Customers can be confident that MUJI appliances are user-friendly and manufactured to high-quality MUJI standards. They are now on sale at every MUJI store.
Masashi Ooka, General Manager of Merchandise of MUJI Retail (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said that the MUJI philosophy was about “creating products essential to everyday life, in the necessary forms”. Products are designed to be ergonomic and durable. Deep insight into MUJI’s Thai customers shows a demand for domestic electrical appliances that are easy to use and fit for purpose, with minimalist designs. MUJI thus decided to launch a line of home appliances in Thailand, under the concept, “The Simple Design that naturally blends into your life.”
“MUJI Thailand already has some electrical products in its stores, which are small items such as Circulator Fan, USB Fan, Rechargeable Compact Hand Fan and Aroma Diffuser.
After MUJI was able to add furniture and home décor product lines such as beds and bedding, tables, chairs and sofas, as well as the interior design service, the brand then saw additional demand for domestic electrical appliances in the MUJI style. These will blend into the homes of customers who value simplicity and minimalism,” said Mr. Masashi.
MUJI has launched a range of five essential electrical appliances for daily use, which are: a rice cooker, a toaster oven, a vacuum cleaner, a DC Electric fan and a hair dryer. They have been designed with tasteful soft lines and come in a clean-looking white tones.
This enables them to blend in naturally with the home environment, furnishings and other appliances on dining tables, kitchens, sitting rooms or bathrooms in which modern life goes on. MUJI must provide every customer with convenience and ease in their daily lives, and blend elements together in the MUJI style which is accessible to everyone.
The 5 home appliances from MUJI come with easy-to-use function for everyday use. Every unit is certified to the Japan Quality standard, and the 5 home appliances are including;
- Rice Cooker at 3,900 baht with a simple & smooth design which allows you to place a ladle on top, a pot has 1.7 mm of thickness that keeps the heat cooking consistently. The inner lid is detachable for easy cleaning. The products have many functions for cooking such as white rice, riceberry rice, brown rice, curry, porridge etc. Able to cook up to 4 cups of rice. The screen is easy to use with Thai and can be set timer-functions to add more hours and minutes for boiled rice or soup.
- Toaster oven at 2,990 baht, it can adjust temperature from 80 to 200 degrees celsius with 1000 W power, setting a maximum time of 30 minutes with alarm. The lower grille / baking tray can be put out from the oven to clean easily with dishwashing liquid and can buy separately.
- The Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner at 5,900 baht and Stand for Cordless Stick Cleaner at 1,190 baht. Vacuum Cleaner can switch between two operation modes, Standard mode for 30 minutes using and Strong mode for 10 minutes using per a charge round (taking 3 hours for full charge) its compactness, light weight, easy to use in every space like living room or even in a car and able to remove a part of gadgets to clean easily.
- The DC electric fan at 3,900 baht, the air is steady with low noise at 30dB, even if you use the high air level. The fan blade can rotate both horizontally and vertically. Able to adjust high up to 8 levels of fan power. The swing mode can be adjusted only by pressing the button for 2 seconds. and can set closing-time on 1, 2, 4, and 6 hours. Front cover and fan blade are available to buy separately.
- Negative ion hair dryer at 2,490 baht, it has three levels of blowing, High, light and cold air with 1200W. The negative ion will not make your hair damaged or Frizzy. The handle can be folded for compact storage.
