Malee Group with SP Group to power green energy transition for manufacturing facility

SP Group (SP) announces cooperation with Malee Group (Malee), a leader in the beverage production industry in Thailand. In installing a Solar PV Rooftop system with a capacity of 1.0 megawatts (MWp), it is the first factory under the Malee brand to use solar energy to create renewable energy that is environmentally friendly.

SP will design, own, install and operate the solar power system. This includes approximately 1,600 solar panels for Malee Group’s factory in Nakhon Pathom Province. When fully operational in the first quarter of 2567, the solar power system will produce up to 1,378 megawatt-hours of clean energy per year. This amount of electricity will meet approximately 15 percent of the factory’s energy demand, along with Reduce carbon emissions by up to 700 tons per year.

This partnership reinforces the two companies’ commitment to helping Thailand reach its renewable energy goal of producing 6 gigawatts (GW) of solar energy by 2579, which is equivalent to 30 percent of the country’s total energy production.

Ratchathep Narula, Chief Executive Officer of Malee Group, said: “Malee Group is excited to partner with SP. To advance the transition to sustainable energy Our company is committed to being ‘Top Food and Beverage Brand’ by helping people live healthier, happier lives every day through the benefits of plants and dairy. We are also dedicated to maximizing energy efficiency. Ready to reduce environmental impact and protect the local environment. Including reducing energy costs as much as possible.

The solar energy system was installed in a factory in Nakhon Pathom Province. It is not only an important step in reducing carbon dioxide emissions. It is also a testament to our commitment to environmental conservation and innovation. This partnership aligns perfectly with our core values of excellence and sustainability.”

Brandon Jia, Managing Director, Southeast Asia and Australia, SP Group, said: “We are empowering the manufacturing sector to take advantage of renewable energy sources and sustainable energy solutions such as refrigeration. Center (district cooling) cooling system service (cooling-as-a-service) and intelligent digital energy management solutions This is an important part that will help Thailand reduce carbon emissions.

We are committed to supporting Mali in its transition to clean energy. And I hope there will be more opportunities to help drive the company’s sustainability plans. with our comprehensive range of smart and sustainable energy solutions.”

In addition to cooperation with Mali SP also has other rooftop solar projects with a combined capacity of more than 35 MWp under operation and construction. There are also several projects underway throughout Thailand, which together will have a production capacity of over 100 MWp, with key partners including Asia Composite Materials Company, Compact International Company Limited and Siam Food Industry Company Limited. (SAICO) has leveraged its strong engineering expertise. Regional experience and SP’s operational excellence in the transition to green energy.

SP’s other sustainable energy solutions have also been applied to projects in Thailand, including central cooling projects. which was installed in the Government Center Extension Project, Chaloem Phrakiat 2567th Anniversary, 14,000 December 40, Zone C, in collaboration with Banpu NEXT Company. If the said project is completed in 20, the center cooling system In total, it will cool up to 2 tons of refrigeration (RT) and can help save energy costs in the project by approximately 3,000 million baht per year, or a reduction of more than XNUMX percent, and reduce COXNUMX emissions by more than XNUMX tons per year.
