‘IKEA Sukhumvit’, SEA’s First IKEA City Store will open on December 1, 2023

IKEA Thailand announces the launch of the ‘IKEA Sukhumvit’ store, its fourth location in Thailand. Situated on the 3rd floor of the newly opened Emsphere shopping mall, the store will open its doors from December 1, 2023. With its debut as the first ‘city-center store’ in Southeast Asia and the largest home furnishing store in Bangkok, ‘IKEA Sukhumvit,’ covering an area of 12,000 square meters, offers easy accessibility to city dwellers while exposing them to the IKEA-style complete shopping experience.

Centrally located, IKEA Sukhumvit is easily accessible by public transportation. It offers the complete IKEA-style shopping experience featuring a selection of up to 8,254 products, with more than 4,000 available for cash & carry, within a 12,000 sq.m floor space divided into four zones. These include Showroom zone designed specifically for the urban lifestyle, and Market Hall, with a selection of over 3,000 items in the same categories as those found in IKEA Bangna and IKEA Bang Yai. Also included are Self-serve warehouse with over 300 items to buy and take home, as well as As-is corner, and IKEA Restaurant, which commands a panoramic view of Benchasiri Park, accommodating up to 530 seats for visitors to unwind, enjoy the greenery in the heart of the city and indulge in their favorite Swedish cuisine. The restaurant menu will also include three new dishes exclusively available at IKEA Sukhumvit during its launch period.

The same-day delivery service is provided within an 8-kilometer radius utilizing electric vehicles. With prices starting at 129 baht, the service is applicable to in-store purchases and customers who physically visit the store. Technology has been leveraged to provide fast track service and enhance customer convenience. As many as 16 self-checkout kiosks are available, reflecting the commitment to catering to the lifestyles of urban dwellers in the digital era.
