This new cross-border remittance service is designed to offer Myanmar nationals residing in Thailand a faster, easier, and safer way to send money back home. The 2C2P WAVE app provides a seamless digital channel for users to transfer funds from Thailand directly to Wave Wallets, Yoma Bank accounts, or for cash pickup at Wave Money’s extensive network of over 61,000 agents across Myanmar.
Key Features for Seamless Transfers
The 2C2P WAVE app offers several critical features to enhance user experience and accessibility:
- Instant Transfers: Funds can be transferred instantly to Wave Wallets or Yoma Bank accounts, or designated for immediate cash collection at any Wave Agent location.
- Convenient Top-Up: Easy funding options are available via Thai bank accounts and retail partners.
- Transparency and Ease of Use: Users receive real-time transaction receipts for full transparency and can save recipient details for quick and convenient repeat payments.
- Domestic Transfers: The app also supports peer-to-peer transfers within Thailand using QR codes or Wallet IDs.
- Referral Rewards: Incentives are provided for users who invite friends and family to join the service.
Empowering a Critical Workforce
