True and OYMotion launch ‘Neuro AI to revolutionize stroke recovery and physical therapy

ทรู จับมือ OYMotion ผุด 'Neuro AI' ยกระดับกายภาพบำบัดไทย สู่ยุคดิจิทัล

True Corporation’s Research and Innovation Center has announced a strategic partnership with OYMotion, a global leader in neurotechnology. The collaboration aims to develop Neuro AI Technology, an innovation that integrates Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) with True’s 5G network and digital ecosystem to transform physical therapy and rehabilitation standards in Thailand.

This partnership combines Thailand’s top-tier medical expertise with OYMotion’s BCI technology, AI, and data platforms. The system translates a patient’s “thoughts” into digital “commands” to control smart prosthetics or robotic devices. By stimulating neural pathways to trigger muscle movement, the technology enables faster cognitive retraining and physical recovery compared to traditional methods. This innovation seeks to solve critical healthcare challenges, including the shortage of specialized therapists and high treatment costs for stroke, paralysis, and mobility impairment patients.

The collaboration merges OYMotion’s expertise in decoding neural signals from brainwaves and muscle sensors with True Corporation’s robust digital infrastructure. Signals are transmitted seamlessly across True’s network, ensuring that robotic devices move with life-like precision. Currently, the technology is being piloted in leading Thai hospitals to validate clinical efficacy before a planned large-scale national deployment.

Four Dimensions of Impact for Thai Society

The Neuro AI Tech is designed to benefit the healthcare system across four key areas:

  • Patients: Faster, more precise recovery leading to greater independence and better morale.
  • Medical Staff: Access to brain function data for personalized treatment plans, allowing specialists to focus on complex cases rather than routine tasks.
  • Hospitals: Ability to scale services to more patients while maintaining high standards of care.
  • Public Health System: Establishing a new national benchmark for rehabilitation and reinforcing Thailand’s position as a regional NeuroTech hub.
