The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) and TTF International Co., Ltd. officially opened Architect’26 today at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. Billed as the largest building technology exposition in Southeast Asia, the six-day event focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and traditional design practices.
The exhibition, which runs from April 28 to May 3, 2026, occupies 75,000 square meters of space and features nearly 1,000 Thai and international brands. Organizers expect to welcome over 325,000 visitors, with projected trade value reaching 22 billion baht (approx. $600 million USD).
Adapting to Technological Disruption

Under the theme “SATI : WISDOM : PROMPT,” the event addresses the rapid changes currently impacting the architectural and construction professions. Speaking at the opening ceremony, ASA President Asae Sukhyanga noted that global challenges—including economic shifts and the rise of AI—have necessitated a transition in how professionals approach their work.
“In recent years, various professions have faced disruptions,” Asae said. He emphasized that the exhibition aims to provide a platform for professionals to find a balance between human creativity and emerging technologies.
Regional participation and economic impact
Despite global economic headwinds, the event has drawn 913 confirmed exhibitors. According to Supaman Munka, General Manager of TTF International, approximately 10% of these participants are from overseas, predominantly from Asian markets including China, Japan, and South Korea, with additional representation from Europe.
Pre-registration data indicates a high level of industry engagement:
- Professional Visitors: Over 70% of attendees are identified as industry decision-makers, including architects, engineers, and real estate developers.
- International Reach: While 95% of visitors are domestic, the remaining 5% travel from across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Exhibition Highlights
The 2026 edition introduces several new features designed to bridge the gap between material manufacturers and designers:
- Thematic Pavilions: Eight collaborative showcases where construction brands partner with design studios.
- Palette of Materials Pavilion: A curated display of over 800 materials presented as “mood boards” by 40 design firms.
- Innovation Launches: The debut of several new products, including the “Hafele Lighting Solution” and “Ds Milano” laminate.
