Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS) has announced a partnership with UC3 to become the exclusive Official Broadcaster for UEFA men’s club competitions in Thailand. The agreement also covers rights in Laos and Cambodia for a four-year period, spanning the 2027/28 through 2030/31 seasons.
This agreement allows football fans to watch the “UEFA Champions League”—Europe’s grandest and most prestigious football tournament—along with the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, and UEFA Youth League via AIS PLAY. Featuring live broadcasts, highlights, and full-match replays, the platform ensures fans never miss a crucial moment from all 5 competitions.
Pratthana Leelapanang, Chief Executive Officer of AIS, stated that tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League command a strong following among Thai fans. These competitions bring together leading clubs and players from major European leagues, including the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, and French Ligue 1.
He added that this strategic partnership relies on the company’s digital network and AIS PLAY platform capabilities. Combined with its existing sports portfolio, the platform aims to provide comprehensive weekly sports coverage throughout the season.
With this acquisition, AIS PLAY serves as the sole primary channel in Thailand delivering all content from these tournaments. To support service delivery over the four-season period, AIS PLAY has prepared its broadcasting technology and systems accordingly.
