Traveloka announces Baifern Pimchanok as the brand ambassador for Thailand and Vietnam

Traveloka, Southeast Asia’s leading travel platform, has appointed renowned and beloved Thai actress Baifern Pimchanok as the new brand ambassador for Thailand and Vietnam. As the tourism industry continues on its path of recovery with the surge in interest for travel, Traveloka continues to inspire wanderlust, so consumers’ can experience Life, Your Way.

According to Shirley Lesmana, Chief Marketing Officer, Traveloka, Baifern’s appointment as the brand ambassador is a testament to Traveloka’s commitment to understanding the needs of today’s Gen Y and Gen Z travelers, who are passionate about exploring and seeking novel experiences. “Her love for adventure perfectly complements Traveloka’s new, refreshed tagline,” she adds.

Shirley also shared that Traveloka has achieved around 50 percent growth in the number of searches for transportation products, and nearly 25 percent increase in searches for accommodation products in Thailand for January and February this year, compared to the same period in 2022. These figures are in line with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s forecast of 25 million international tourists and 250 million domestic trips in 2023.
