What is SWAP+?

SWAP+ is the new service package from dtac Mobile Care offering a swap or replacement mobile phone while your unit is being repaired and you can get up to 2 swaps per 12 months. Only mobile phones are eligible for this service while any connected devices such as smartwatches or other accessories are not covered. We offer SWAP when you hand in your faulty mobile phone with the IMEI number as registered during sign-up. We offer a REPLACEMENT phone when you hand in a phone without the registered IMEI number.

Don’t risk repairs costing as much as a new phone

We found that about 82 out of 100 mobile phones that sign up for dtac Mobile Care are new units reflecting that customers care significantly for their new phones and are willing to cough up a little more to ensure their investment is safe. Those who sign-up for dtac Mobile Care from day one of their new phones quite reasonably feel unworried because their investment is insured.

dtac Mobile Care stats show that in 2022, the average damage per claim was over 7,400 Baht and which has now risen by about 12% to 8,400 Baht in 2023. The costlier repair bills reflect the increasingly more expensive spare parts. For some customers without protection from dtac Mobile Care, such a hefty bill is equivalent to a brand-new mid-range phone so justifying repair payment can be difficult.
