SCB 10X, the digital technology venture building and investment arm of SCBX group, is hosting the “Bangkok Blockathon 2023” from April 29 to May 5 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The hackathon aims to bring together developers, builders, and entrepreneurs globally to create innovative, scalable decentralized applications that can have real-world impact on “The Next Billion Users” in categories such as Financial Innovation, Gaming & Metaverse Building Blocks, Social Network & Decentralized Society, and Real World Use Cases.
Attendees will have access to workshops, networking events, and panels featuring speakers, mentors, and judges from global partners including Nansen, Fireblocks, The Sandbox, dYdX, Alchemy, Alpha Venture DAO, Superfluid, Impossible Finance, Token Unlocks, Alles Labs, Tetration Labs, Cointelegraph, and Cryptoslate.
The hackathon, which will take place in DISTRICTX, SCB 10X’s new leading international blockchain center in Asia, will offer $18K in prizes and the opportunity for incubation and mentorship by SCB 10X and partners for blockchain-driven products.

DISTRICTX, located in the heart of Bangkok, is a 10,000 sq.ft. space designed to foster world-class communities in blockchain and web3, featuring a Hacker House and Exponential Hub for community building and business co-working.
The hackathon is open to anyone creating or interested in creating blockchain projects, and finalists residing outside Thailand will receive flight reimbursement up to $1,000 per person and free accommodation during the Blockathon period.
