True activates 24-hour AI War Room for ‘Thai Chuay Thai Plus’ surge

ทรู ตั้ง War Room ดึง AI คุมเครือข่าย 24 ชม. รับลงทะเบียน 'ไทยช่วยไทย พลัส 60/40'

True Corporation has deployed robust 5G and 4G network readiness protocols and expanded its network capacity ahead of the nationwide registration for the government’s “Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40” scheme. The registration window, accessible via the Paotang application, is scheduled from May 25–29, 2026, between 06:00 and 22:00 hrs.

Anticipating a massive wave of simultaneous nationwide users—particularly during the critical first hour of day one—the company expects a significant surge in mobile data usage and network traffic. In response, True Corporation has integrated AI and Autonomous Network systems for real-time traffic management and load balancing in high-density areas. Additionally, a 24-hour War Room has been established to rigorously monitor network quality, ensuring seamless and highly efficient connectivity for all mobile services.

Khurrum Ashfaque, Chief Network Officer of True Corporation Public Company Limited, emphasized the company’s commitment to digital continuity, stating that True prioritizes network quality during vital national events, especially high-volume government services. He confirmed the activation of the 24-hour War Room to closely track performance, alongside proactive capacity enhancements to support the influx of simultaneous nationwide registrations on the Paotang application.

To strategically prepare for the event, True’s network team analyzed historical usage data from prior government campaigns. Metrics from the initial registration day of the “Kon La Khrueng Plus” co-payment scheme on October 20, 2025, revealed that Paotang application usage among True and dtac customers skyrocketed by over 2,600% compared to baseline periods. The data indicated that peak traffic concentrated heavily between 06:00–07:00 hrs, followed sequentially by hourly declines until 11:00 hrs, underscoring that a vast majority of users log on the moment the system goes live nationwide.

The dedicated War Room has been set up at True’s Business and Network Intelligence Center (BNIC), leveraging AI-powered network monitoring systems running around the clock. Network and IT teams will be deployed on-site before dawn on May 25 to guarantee system readiness. Their focus will center on 5G and 4G stability, rapid data transmission speeds, and secure connectivity to facilitate fast, accurate, and real-time operations.

Looking beyond the initial registration phase, True Corporation has structured secondary network support plans to sustain service quality through the scheme’s implementation period, running from June 1 to September 30, 2026. Special emphasis will be placed on high-traffic zones, including Bangkok and key provinces. Network monitoring will be intensified, and field engineering teams nationwide will be coordinated to closely supervise performance, ensuring True and dtac customers can execute uninterrupted G-Wallet payments via the Paotang app.

To minimize friction, True Corporation advises the public to update the Paotang application to its latest version and verify their internet connection prior to accessing the platform. New users must complete identity verification via Krung Thai Bank channels and are encouraged to pre-test application features to ensure a smoother, faster, and more confident registration experience.

The government’s “Thai Chuay Thai Plus 60/40” scheme offers 30 million entitlements, with registration open from May 25–29, 2026, between 06:00–22:00 hrs. Under the program, the government will subsidize 60% of eligible expenditures while citizens pay 40%, capped at 1,000 baht per person per month, totaling up to 4,000 baht over four months. This substantial subsidy structure is anticipated to trigger immediate, high-volume concurrent user traffic nationwide on the opening day.
