LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has officially entered a strategic partnership with Urbanway Co., Ltd., the operator of the leading laundry tech platform “Trendy Wash,” to launch “Laundry Crew Express.” Formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), this collaboration introduces a comprehensive Online-to-Offline (O2O) service encompassing washing, drying, folding, ironing, dry cleaning, and door-to-door delivery. The service saw its Thailand debut at the Suksawat 14 branch, specifically targeting urban professionals and condominium residents.
Sunghan Jung, President of LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated that this move aligns with LG’s evolution into a “Smart Life Solution Company.” Laundry Crew Express is designed to solve the time and space constraints faced by city dwellers. By integrating LG’s high-performance technology with a full-service model—from pickup to professional folding and delivery within 24 hours—the company aims to establish a new national standard for door-to-door laundry services.
The partnership plans to expand across Bangkok’s high-potential residential and commercial zones, including Sukhumvit, Phrom Phong, Thonglor, Ekkamai, and Rama 4. In this alliance, LG provides the washing innovations, back-end management, and marketing support, while Trendy Wash leverages its operational expertise and tech-driven branch management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Nimit Tangwararad, CEO of Urbanway Co., Ltd., emphasized that the synergy between LG’s global brand trust and Trendy Wash’s local expertise creates a robust business model. He noted that the venture transitions traditional self-service laundromats into tech-driven smart laundry hubs. This model offers new revenue opportunities for franchise investors through an innovation-driven platform that automates everything from order intake to last-mile delivery.
To mark the official launch, LG Laundry Crew Express is offering a special introductory promotion: wash, dry, fold, and delivery service for THB 199 per bag (up to 13 kg), reduced from the standard price of THB 499. The promotion allows customers to experience LG’s specialized fabric-care and bacteria-elimination technologies at a premium value.
