Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has achieved significant regional recognition by securing four prestigious awards at the 18th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2026. This summit is recognized as one of Asia’s premier platforms for honoring excellence in corporate governance and sustainability.
The awards were presented by Matthias Gelber, Co-Founder of ESG Innovation Hub, to Chatit Huayhongtong, President of Chevron Thailand, and Pornsuree Konanta, Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Chevron’s leadership was recognized across four distinct categories:
- Platinum Award: Best CEO
- Platinum Award: CSR & ESG Leadership
- Gold Award: Best Community Programme
- Silver Award: Best Environmental Excellence
The event, themed “AI, Energy & Transition: Resetting ESG in a New Economy,” served as a hub for regional leaders to discuss energy innovation and economic transformation in a rapidly changing global landscape.

Chatit Huayhongtong emphasized that for over 60 years in Thailand, Chevron has prioritized environmental protection and human progress. “Receiving recognition from the Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards reinforces our focus on continuously improving performance and delivering tangible outcomes for the economy, communities, and the environment,” he stated. He added that the company remains dedicated to supporting a more secure energy future for Thailand and the broader region.

Chevron’s recognition stems from concrete achievements across all three ESG pillars:
- Environmental: The company successfully reduced carbon intensity from its operations by 18% (compared to a 2022 baseline). It also pioneered industry benchmarks through innovative projects like Topside Reuse and Rigs-to-Reefs.
- Social: Chevron manages over 50 social investment projects annually, reaching 17 provinces across Thailand.
- Governance: The company continues to uphold high ethical standards guided by “The Chevron Way,” ensuring transparency and sustainability remain at the core of its energy industry advancement.
